Tara Reynolds

“In 2021, I got diagnosed with being on spectrum and I’m fifty four now. So, that was a lot for me to take in. It was hard, getting that diagnosis was really hard but I have my youngest sister's second to the youngest got diagnosed and he sent me a message and said, 'You don't have bad abilities you have different abilities and hold at your strength and just remember that nothing's wrong with you. You have other powers in a way.' That just like really sunk hard for me. It means a lot.

"Each piece comes from the eye of the beholder, each piece an original. Each piece comes from with in me when I create a piece from my imagination it flows really well, sometimes a piece will come to me and I might not be where I can create it right away and it will keep coming to me so when that happens I know it's meant to be to create it."

Tara's Story

"I studied art at Dixie State University, I took 2 drawing classes, and 2 painting 1 of which was watercolor and the other was acrylic I also took the required classes, I struggled with school in many ways but never understood why until 2021 when I was diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. I tell a story with every piece of art I create. Some maybe because of the struggles I've endured through my life, and some are simply because I love to make others smile even if I'm not smiling inside. I'm the 6 of 10 kids. I am 54 yrs old. I love creating art."
